Title: Fast video on Linux
Post by: Smilley on June 10, 2015, 02:31:22 AM
Check this (https://youtu.be/qrljvFL0RG4?t=17m6s) out. The audio and the gameplay are normal, but the video plays at about 4 times the speed. Could someone verify if this is a Linux thing or maybe just a failed download.

Bug confirmed (but, weird one). It happens on the cheap PC board I used at Galacon, but not on my desktop machine nor my netbook. "Lullaby for a Princess" is probably affected too - at least, that was the case at Galacon.

Lullaby was the last song in the video above, and wasn't affected.
If anyone else experiences such problems, please post them here. Maybe we can narrow it down eventually.

could you check if this still happens with ffmpeg 2.7 or newer?

PS: there now is a building-on-linux wikipage: https://sourceforge.net/p/ultrastardx/wiki/Compiling%20UltraStar%20Deluxe%20on%20GNU-Linux/ please provide some feedback on what to add or change on this how-to.

Thanks!
