I don't know about the score, somepony else might be able to awnser

About the downloads directory, it will come, but that ain't how you're supposed to use a SSD in windows, you should deport your download folder onto the HDD.

Flickering: I've seen it happen randomly, it should cause no other issue, dev might have a better idea why it happen, as long as you have around 733 songs, it is OK!

I have no idea why it doesn't work on your install.

You can try to download manually the files and put them in your downloads folder, then the WebInstaller will only check their validity and install.

Smilley : Stop recommanding manual installation as the first problem happen, more and more feature is depending of a full installation, and I'm not even sure he can easily update from MLK to MLK beta with World Party with a manual installation.

You can try to remove all settings: Go to the terminal and type

open ~/Library/Application\ Support/UltraStarDeluxe

In the folder that it has opened, delete everything but songs and themes.

If that doesn't work, here the instruction to clean your system of the actual MyLittleKaraoke installation (the uninstaller keep settings):

To clean your actual installation, run this in the terminal:

sudo rm -rf /Applications/UltraStarDeluxe.app
sudo rm -rf /Applications/mlkstart.app
sudo rm -rf /Applications/MyLittleKaraoke\ Launcher.app
sudo rm -rf /Applications/.USDXMavericks
rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/UltraStarDeluxe

BE CAREFUL WITH THE RM -RF, BE SURE THAT THERE IS NO TYPO! I RECOMMAND YOU TO COPY/PASTE THE ENTIRE THING TO THE TERMINAL.

Now you can reinstall, there should be nothing left.

Also, I had to (losslessly) cut ~~0.68~~ 0.78 seconds (better lip sync) of silence from the start of the mp3's, so that the video begins at the first frame of the door shot. Adjusted gaps accordingly.

I don't know, I truly don't know ... Ask Hasbro?

Please wait a bit at first launch. If you still have problem, uninstall completely (MLK Uninstall.app in your application folder, and delete personal preferences in "~/Library/Application Support/UltraStarDeluxe" (In finder, Go > Go to folder ... > paste this and press GO, delete everything you'll see in that folder)) and reinstall from MLK_SIM2.iso.

Also note that MyLittleKaraoke need at least the additional disc 1 and 2 installed to work on OSX since mavericks.

Also, don't launch USDX as root, all you risk to do is derp the permissions. Be sure to have the latest version installed (MLK_AC3), you need to install them all, MLK_SIM2 > MLK_AC > MLK_AC2 and finally MLK_AC3.

Better yet, don't try to launch Ultrastar Deluxe alone, it doesn't work on mavericks, you need the launcher.

What do you mean mount? I don't get what that means. When I click on the files they are automatically extracted since they are zip files.
Not exactly. ISO files are CD/DVD images. Autorun and other features won't work properly if you just extract them. You can use utilities like Daemon Tools to create virtual DVD drives and load, or "mount", your ISOs to it. Alternatively, you can burn them to a DVD-R.

On mac, it's even worst than the failed autorun. the installation script expect to see the songs file in /Volumes/IsoName/songs/ , if you extract it, it will not be on this path, so it will simply fail.

So, first, please check the md5: open a terminal, type "md5 " (Without the quote, with the space), drop the downloaded file in it (The one called MLK_SIM2/MLK_AC/MLK_AC2 or MLK_AC3) and press enter.

It should take a short time (Depend of your computer) and should give you this:

If the hash is incorrect, your iso is corrupted and you'll need to redownload, If not, clean your actual installation, run this in the terminal:

Now, to mount the iso, we will use the terminal again, just to be sure that everything is done correctly:

Type "hdiutil mount " on your terminal (again, no quote but with the space at the end), drop the file you downloaded and press enter.

Now, just to do an additional check, type "ls /Volumes/" and press enter, you should see the name of the iso (and also the name of the DMG, if you opened it.), if you do, please continue the install normally, if you don't, please come back at us.

We replaced ultrastardx.exe with the second extention, I don't remember if we also changed the configuration.

Install the first disc normally, and install later disc manually (by copy pasting song folder from the CD to the install directory, by replacing all file named the same), and tell us if it worked.

On Rainbow Rocks: I prefer the iTunes OST version, the lack of electric guitar on 00:40 to 00:49 is just weird
On Better Than Ever: Psychic version is definitively better, better bass and voice is closer to what I expect.
