From the "Bronies" documentary's ending credits roll. Got a hold of a (low quality) MP3. Will start to work on it soon.

EDIT: Could you help me with the lyrics? What's the line after "I hear your heart and your song"?

Vengir

I can't recall that line anywhere in the song. Am i deaf?

Smilley

It starts at 1:41. And it's the other way around, "I hear your song and your heart". [derpy-voice] My bad! [/derpy-voice]

Smilley

Added the first draft to the ownCloud folder, with what I think are the lyrics.
The song is out on iTunes now. I feel torn. It's €0,99, but we still couldn't use it.

the line after "I hear your song and your heart" is "mixed with mine" if i heard it right

Smilley

Yes, that sounds plausible. Corrected it.

Renard

The song has been released on iTunes. I wonder if ripping it from the Brony Doc is still relevant now.

Smilley

Improved the lyrics a bit, added some Golden notes. Here's the new version:

Not sure why it needs UTF8 encoding, but whatever.

Not sure if that's my netbook or the song, but it seems the timing's a bit off to me. Phrases start a bit late and end correctly, so I'm not sure that's an offset/starting gap issue.
Might be my underpowered netbook though!

Smilley

I took another look, and it seems fine to me. But I could be biased.

Tried on my desktop and saw the very same issue. Weird part: I tried to record it in order to show the effect, but the recording doesn't suffer from such audio lag. Lines do start a bit early, but nothing game-breaking.

Do we have the same file? I'm directly using YayCloud as an additional song folder on my setup.

Smilley

Yup, we do. I just got 9910, so it can't be that horribly off. If you think you can finetune it, go ahead. I'll see if it works better.

Slightly adjusted the #GAP: from 4426 →to→ 4712.

Smilley

I realized what the problem was: we were using different MP3-s. I only checked the notes file before. The new gap's better @ 4622. Updated it on the ownCloud file.

Well, that explains a lot. Feels much, much, much more snappier now. Thanks ;)

Just wanted to say that there is a music video by Tara on YouTube ;)
You can get it HERE REPAIRED

EDIT: The video is already synced to the song so no need for gap and stuff :)

Smilley

Well, look at that. Back when the song came out, I was looking for a video for some time, but it kinda went out of my focus.
The download link doesn't work, though. Could you upload it to the ownCloud folder or our FTP?

In the owncloud directory, I also changed the notes.txt to include it ;)

Smilley

Unfortunately, that page creates a 1080p video. Good for quality, bad if you want to run it with USDX on lower specced PCs (eg. mine). Renard, could you scale it down to 720p? That way, it'll be pretty much release-ready.

I'll do that (and I'll discover the music video, too)!
Edit: done!
