Quick post, will rewrite it later on. Two basic ideas:
- Suggesting a song is awesome, but will not guarantee someone will actually work on it / release it in a playable state. Keep it in mind :)
- Please include a Youtube video of the song in the first post if possible, using the (http://ps3linux.fr/mlpkar/Themes/default/images/bbc/youtube.gif) button.
Other best practices:
- Copy/Paste the song's lyrics in your post (using either the Quote or Code function of this forum)
- Suggest two pictures: a cover and a static background
- If there's a known / quality PMV for a particular song, link to it (720p video preferred)
Let me amend this list a bit:
- Use the format "Artist - Song title" as the thread title.
- Only request one song per thread. There are no rewards or penalties for post count, and it just streamlines our workflow.
- Check the WIP and Request boards before suggesting a song.
- Only post in the WIP folder if you plan to work on the song yourself.
- You generally do not have to post requests for new show songs. Believe us, we are aware of those. If you want to request/work on songs that we have missed from earlier seasons and/or in foreign languages, use this format:
"[two-letter language code (if not English)] [episode/movie code] Song Title in requested language (Song title in English)"
