Well, it's awesome. Really. We got more than 60 songs in the whole project (including instrumental tracks)!

As of 11 Aug 2012:
- Validated files moved to the "Ready to release" folder; if you now need to make a change to any of them, be sure to notify it, because it will impact the instrumental version
- Instrumental tracks added (no background videos, but you can copy / symlink the existing ones from the vocal tracks) - some have gap issues and need a quick fix
- Fan-made songs not yet validated

Oh gosh that's just horrible to sing.

The file seems perfectly fine! :D
(my voice, on the other hand, isn't)

Sweet! Gotta try that RIGHT NOW.

I didn't realize at first how insane this one his. If you've made it to that point already, it's a REALLY impressive feat; heck, I don't even remember a single official Singstar song this dense (that's one of the reasons they invented the "rap meter", I believe!).

I'm pretty confident that A LOT of people will enjoy singing that, though. ;)

So that's an Ulstrastar-specific issue, then... and Ultrastar is being abandoned (the devs are moving toward Vocaluxe). Ultimately, I believe the best option is 3) if we can't really fix the TXT themselves; after all, we're only making a song pack - it's up to the software devs to fix such blatant issues (and it's not the only issue USDX has either - I'm thinking of the "no delay before a song starts" feature request).

I have no idea if that issue is present in Vocaluxe too. I know Performous doesn't suffer from that, but since Vocaluxe is a Windows-only software because of weird dev choices, I'm bitterly left in the dark.
(In b4 Vocaluxe becomes plagued by the same issues USDX currently has)

Considering a feature freeze this Thursday Aug 9th on the already made songs. I'll check them thoroughly once more after that, then - if all is good - I'll add the instrumental-english versions. I'd appreciate if someone wants to start working on the few missing songs; unfortunately, I don't have much time right now!

The Karaoke project will be featured at BUCK in approx. two weeks, so I hope to show it in a playable state (at least for the current official S1 and S2 English songs).

I'd advise all of you who worked hard on the project to add a few lines to the "Credits" thread too ;)
That is, uh, if you don't mind

Also, a proposal: wait till mid-September for the public release. Yeah, that's in quite a long time, but that will also be right after the summer break and help wait till S3 is out later in (supposedly) mid-October.  Until then, the project will be shown in Cons, and bugfix'd if necessary - kinda like what the Mane6 team was planning to do with Fighting is Magic.

Sweet! Updated its status in the Google Docs. Did not try it yet, will do tonight ;)
#1075
And another missing S2 song. ;)
#1076
Also currently missing
#1077
...is still missing. :D

Anyone?
#1078
Normalized the song's volume.
#1079
How about doubling the BPM in to fit two beats during the breaks? Would that work?

Still no answer from the Beatles Bronies.

What do you mean by "altering" exactly? Too many "~"? Off-sync? Spelling errors?
