Actually, now that I revised it, I found that all but the reprise was one note too low. I also adjusted some timings, too.
It actually pays to have others critically review your work. I would probably not have noticed this for a long time.

Made another version before I realized there was one already. We should really keep the Resources folder organized. Mine's the Sherclop Pones one without cover or background. I'll let you guys be the judge.

Gotta love the anonymity blurring. Guess some people wouldn't want their Brony identity to become public outside a certain circle. Well, only a handful of my closest friends know, so I can understand that.

Reduced the pitch of the reprise to match the rest of the song. Didn't change anything in USDX, but a scrolling interface like Performous' would have shown a 2 octave jump. I fixed both the normal and the instrumental version.

I have to say I didn't look at the .txt before editing it, and haven't knowingly removed anything. Probably USDX being over-eager, but it hasn't happened before. I guessed Renard will just use our standard tags, which will of course include credits to you.
As for the pacing correction: now that you have a competent program, you can redo them. I fixed them by my personal taste, and my 9890 points gave me some measure of proof that I'm on the right path. Also, I think the OGG-file uses VBR, which makes editing single notes a bit iffy in USDX, anyway. We'll see how it sounds with CBR MP3 and you can make corrections, then.

The main reason I don't use USDX CMD is mainly because it doesn't allow for special characters, like "é", therefore it kicked Becoming Popular off for the line "I'm the créme de la créme", among others. And I don't like the player's interface, but that's just me.
The main features the standard editor lacks over the CMD one are fluent changes of BPM (you can double the count with Shift+M, though) and displaying the hotkeys (which becomes obsolete after you've done more than 2 songs).
The biggest flaw in both the normal and CMD versions is the lack of mouse support, but one can learn to live without that.

I did a bit of tinkering with the song.
Good job, for a first try. The pitches were all correct, though the pacing was off at a few places.
BPM is mostly for your convenience rather than the program setting it in stone. I doubled it for this song, so I could fine-tune some syllables.
Note that some notes were overlapping. You can't sing two pitches at once.  ;)
I added a few linebreaks were lines got a bit too long.
Doublecheck your spelling. You had a few words without spaces between them. On that note, you should put the space before the word, not afterwards (so " see" and not "see "). That makes manual editing in .txt easier.
When you have changing pitches within a syllable, like in the line "We are a circle of pony friends", you should either double the syllable like I did (pony-y friends) or add a ~ (pony~ friends).
Also, I favor the USDX editor. You can check single pitches and syllables better there. It takes a bit to get used to the controls, but they are very precise once you do.

Yeah, I guess you're right. And Galacon is likely the second biggest European Brony-Con, and my stuff being featured there ain't that bad, either.
And I know the whole Brony community is playing it fast and loose with copyright law and we're only allowed to do all this stuff because neither the Hub nor Hasbro cares much for the fan backlash they'd get if they started throwing out Seize and Desist orders left and right.
Them lacking a certain... etiquette was just what rubbed me the wrong way, I guess. And the fact that Pony Pokey and Find a Pet really improved since then, and it could have been better.

After someone at Galacon used some of my songs (among others) for their karaoke booth (here's a rant about it, if you care), I started wondering if we should have some kinda unified policy about our releases. Until we go live with our project, I'd still like to release my songs at Bronies.de; they were the first community to recognize my work. I would like to use the HQ vids and audio in that case, if that's OK with everyone. I won't "leak" any songs made by others, though. We can just link them to our DL site once we're live, of course.
I also had the idea that we could go for some kind of product identity. The plug in the .txt files is nice, but most people will never see that. I thought maybe a logo in the corner of the cover picture, or something similar.
I'm probably going a bit nuts about it, but I guess this is what it feels like to have intellectual property that's starting a life of its own.

Y'know, what you wrote got me thinking. Were those songs in German or English? My first thought was: "Cool, there's another group like us". Given the size of the Brony community and our affinity for both music and all things PC, that's not unreasonable. We may hook up, compare notes and stuff. But then I thought about how I did a fairly thorough search on MLP karaoke before starting to produce my own stuff. Not that there were many sites that upload Ultrastar songs that don't have you jumping through hoops by registering and payment options (which is frankly quite ridiculous given that US and the other programs are all freeware). But I digress...
Anyway, that planted the thought in my mind that they were using our, more specifically my songs from before I joined up here. It fits too well: I first uploaded them on a German site, where they were found by a German board. And there just happened to be a Performous booth on the next German Con.
Thing is, if this were all true, they never asked for my permission. I have an account on both sites and they'd just have needed to PM me. I would have given it to them, probably even polish up some of my songs as I did for Everfree NW. They could have plugged this project. I fear they might have used my (in hindsight) atrocious version of Pony Pokey and my less than perfect version of Find a Pet. And it would also have been good for my ego, but that's not quite as important.
Sorry for the rant.

Try it now. Damn is it much harder to sing without the original to go by. Still managed a 9180, so it's at least within 100 milliseconds.

Done it. Also added Golden Notes and fixed the odd pitch.

Honestly, I don't. You simply cannot put a pitch on Flim's lines. It's like (for lack of a better word) rap. One can only pitch the random few lines Flam inserts here and there; and you might not be ready for those if you don't know the song very well.
And that leaves you with pretty much the chorus to really sing.
I've tried to pitch Granny's lines, but I gave up after 2 or 3 lines. My attempts are there under the fade, if someone wants to try later.
I'm at the last part, but I had a very busy day yesterday and today doesn't look that hot, either. I'll see that I get it done ASAP, though.

Unfortunately, US-DX loads the new line a few milliseconds sooner than the beat it's supposed to be on. That can be rectified if there are ~3 beats between lines. With rapidfire songs like most of Pinkie's shorts, where you might have 0 beats between lines, you have 3 choices:
1) Shorten the last note before the linebreak. This may or may not work depending on the line in question.
2) Merge lines or rearrange them so you get a brief pause during the linebreak. This can lead to awkwardly long lines, though.
3) Live with it. An unfortunate truth, but until they fix this, it may be the only possibility. And given that the last version update is a year old, I wouldn't hold my breath.

On the upside, even if they aren't visible, the whole notes do count towards the total.

Since nobody else is volunteering, I'll see what I can do about it. Expect freestyle for Flim's text, though.
EDIT: Urgh, it's just as thankless as I imagined it to be. I've got it to the start of the Granny Smith interlude, but I'm really exhausted right now. I'll finish and upload it tomorrow. It's got quite a few clippings, but given the rapid-fire nature of the song, that's pretty much inevitable.

Finally got around to revise this song. I've re-pitched pretty much the whole song, but I think I nailed it much better, and my 9560 points (on Easy) prove me right. ;D

I'd go with the native language title. Those who will eventually look for those won't nessessarily know the English title.

I tried it. I also edited it whereever possible to clip off a beat before or after the break. But at some breaks you just can't cut anything off, without butchering it. -.- I'll let you be the judge...
