Got that, the copy to the other computer has to be stored under the user download, otherwise the online installer will download all the .MLK files again... But also found that there is another installer within the download. And copy paste to the users download or mount the USB to that folder, thus prevents the download.  The pain in the butt way is to use 7zip, included with the download and manually unpacked, and install or run without the install with the only real loss is any new mom songs don't knew were it unpack to.
  Only practical if you want to unpacked a song folder and move it to the appropriate folder.

How about this...
I found 1080 p about a gig.  It does has Russian subtitles.  I would suggest to reduce the size and add a border . Reading words over words is kind of distracting.  I'll share the file for a few days..   Be very selective if you need to share the link.

I was just trying to find a good image and audio file with very little luck.. Not even  a great not English version. And the Music file is just passable.

Press the Windows key and the R key at the same time, it will open the Run command box
if My Little Karaoke is installed under C:\Program Files (x86) then just copy and paste below to the open box then click ok

"C:\Program Files (x86)\MyLittleKaraoke\ultrastardx.exe" -Resolution 800x600 -Depth 32 -Fullscreen=off

If not at that location then click on browse and find ultrastardx.exe left click once then open
thus will fill in the open: after the last quote add a space and copy and paste after the space
-Resolution 800x600 -Depth 32 -Fullscreen=off

this SHOULD start the game with the parameters given and give you a chance to change the default settings

try this... Within the same folder as My Little Karaoke Launcher there is ultrastardx.exe
right click it and run as administrator.. 
You might need to right click.. compatibility mode windows 7
Don't run in full screen mode.

Maybe... the problem in full screen mode at that is an easy fix by changing a line in the config.ini (open in notepad)
Split=Off
FullScreen=Off
Visualization=Off
but try the above first.


Must likely the folder will be: C:\Program Files (x86)\MyLittleKaraoke
while you are there check under songs to see if you have them...  Have a plan B

there is also an error log: open in Note pad  and copy the last 15 or so lines  and paste it into a reply.

I decided the players pitch is all wrong.  Trying again.

Maybe bottling will need spit and a few minor pitch corrections needed.
  The more I mess with the numbers the worse it's getting.

Close.. also had to delete the database, change some ini files to make it recursive.
Don't seam to need link.res or uninstallers.
create a simple autorun.ini with label and ico
Of course drop songs, now playlist is no good.
download and copy UltraStar Manager to make new playlist.
copy the config for changes from graphic settings size mainly. from computer to computer.

I do think there is extra files that don't need to be on the USB to work.

The idea is you can have MLK run portable.

If you please.. download, unzip to a USB drive.
test it with a windows computer that don't have MLK.
You could add more song folders to songs depending on the size of the USB drive..

Alternate test could be, unzip to a folder. then when run as is .. you should have only two songs when played.

Tested, Clean and Rebuild computers, or recycled. 
I often can get four year old computer and parts at 20c on the dollar.
Probable the hard part will be the comparability and drivers of parts.

I'm really thinking about a custom build specifically for MLK, (UltraStar Deluxe) of course I want to keep the cost low but not priority.
Two big concerns for up to three monitors (1920x1080) suggestive video cards to get the job done (60 frame rate) and how many sound card needed for 4 people

recording the performance net required but would be nice.
Preferable using parts about two years old... more bang for the buck.

Is there a way I can download MLK from one computer with a fast internet. then install to a different computer without the internet?

Maybe an ISO? or full download with an installer that don't need an internet.

Where does Category list comes from?

As an experiment that worked. I found a rar file of 897 songs that was created for Ultrastar Deluxe and then created a new folder under songs, extracted the songs there.  When I open MLK there is the songs and more categories.
I don't see any tags on Category.

You won't believe it worked using Amazon Reader with VLC.
In the stores you can still buy portable karaokes that uses CD+G
I would be interested in the text converter

The cueing is a bit behind but it would be an interesting app.
