That's right, Saberspark is doing it this time.
I bet EqD and Everfree Radio etc. will follow.

Though I still think 25 is way too small a number. 150 or 200 would be more realistic imho...

Edit: Oh, and voting is done in the comments of the video.

An oldie (2011...) but a goodie.

QuoteI used to hide myself away
From the cloudy skies of gray
I didn't laugh - I didn't know how
But all that's behind me now

No clouds today, the sky is clear
Just laugh to make them disappear
I was going to bring cupcakes
But I ate them all, so...

I put balloons in my basket
And watched them float away
I hope that it fills you with laughter
And sweeps your fears away
I put balloons in my basket
It usually gets a laugh or two
It's more fun when it's unexpected
I threw this party just for you

I know that I'm hard to understand
Sometimes I don't even get myself
But where's the fun, thinking so hard?
Let's just go roll on the ground

There's lots of other things that I'd rather do
Eating lots of sugary things with you
Ice cream, candy, pie and chocolate rain
Ignore the crowd, they just think we're insane

Run into the forest just to laugh at the trees
Then run back out while giggling at the ghostly
There's the evil enchantress who does evil dances
And when you look deep in her eyes she puts you in the punch bowl

I put balloons in my basket
And watched them float away
I hope that it fills you with laughter
And sweeps your fears away
I put balloons in my basket
It usually gets a laugh or two
It's more fun when it's unexpected
I threw this party just for you

I may seem so very crazy
When I say my tail makes the future less hazy
But come along with me and I'm sure you'll find
Falling pianos won't get you when you're right behind me

All it really takes is a cup of flour
And suddenly you're going 90 MPH
Everypony thinks I'm annoying sometimes
But they all agree my parties are really fun times
Learning how to laugh at your flaws is part of the fun
But I don't laugh at anyone
I'm energetic, sympathetic, there when you need me
And silly ponies who don't listen get eaten by the parasprites

Candy, cakes and pies, oh my
Where were you when I was kickin' it with Flutterguy?
With a twitcha-twitch-twitch, Twi fell into a ditch
I got knocked into a bush with a bump from Flutterbitch
I wouldn't trade my sense of humor
For all the sugar in the world
Cause I'm the partyingest pony in town
Stick with me and I'll show you rock that frown upside down

I put balloons in my basket
And watched them float away
I hope that it fills you with laughter
And sweeps your fears away
I put balloons in my basket
It usually gets a laugh or two
It's more fun when it's unexpected
I threw this party just for you

I thought you wanted to get some sleep? oO

Uhh, rap. Someone really needs to hack rapping notes into Performous which rate timing and pronounciation. Then it would work.

Just a quick thought: Should we append the reprise like we did with BBBFF? Or do it as a separate song? I'm afraid it isn't long enough to justify that, though. And both basically belong together imho.
#46
Totally fan-made. Mhm. Right. ;)
#47
It took me some minutes on the piano but I now definitely think that the end of the alternating yeah and the alternating parts ("hide we gonna fail") are half steps.
#48
Do eet!

It's a wonderful song.
#49
Wow, it's great to hear that people actually play it.
Of course, all thanks go to Renard, since most of this is his work, but great to see nonetheless.

We are going to have a big party for S3, too, and I plan to do a lot of karaoke.
#50
Could you please put it in a seperate thread in the request forum? Thanks!
#51
Yeah, I claimed it but haven't found the time.
I'm glad you did it, this would have taken foreeeeever.

And I guess making it final is going to take as much time as your first version took, as is always the case...

@Prof: Die Stimme klingt gut, wenn auch etwas ungeschliffen. Mit etwas Training/Gesangsausbildung lässt sich da glaub' ich sogar professionell was rausholen.

You think?  :o
That's a huge push at the right time. In the last days I seriously doubted if I ever had the chance to get my voice anywhere at all.
Thanks.  :)

I strongly doubt the accuracy of that test, but anyway:

Some of these questions are simply to obvious.
And no, I'm definitely mostly a Twilight. As I said, the questions are not the best...

I'm kind of confused by your statement aout Poni1Kenobi's cover being easier to sing, since it's actually faster IIRC. Is it an issue with the electronic voice or something?

Yeah, I think it's a tad faster, the thing is it is intended to be sung by a normal voice, so it may sound better when sung as karaoke.

By the way, you should contact H8_Seed and ask for real karaoke files (lossless, if possible) if you are serious about this.

Noone is working on it as long as it isn't in the WIP forum and someone posted he does it.

And Pinkie's Brew:
http://picosong.com/wzg9

Nah, kidding. I'm totally doing a quick recording tomorrow, though.
Pinkies Brew. Just 4 the lulz.

I totally suck at Pinkies Brew, after trying it. Kudos to the original singer, I don't know how I could ever think it was badly sung...

Anyways, I took something that could be butchered WAAAAY more and then I did.

>>> DANGER! TOTAL BRAINMELT! <<<

I've got some excuses, too!
• My nose totally closed after the first few words.
• The mic is soooo bad. Like, sooooo bad! (Good thing Audacity has noise reduction.)
• I sang this by heart.

Ah, whatever. I'm bad. That's all.
And everything that sounds nice is caused by Ponyphonic's awesomeness. Literally.

For comparison, have a recording from our (first) band rehearsal last week (by the time it completely escalated into a certain genre we definitely hadn't planned it to go. Yeah, this is as improvised as it sounds. And no, I was not playing the keys ::) ), which was recorded with much better equipment.

Ah don't regret nothin'!

Sorry to every German gal who actually understands what I sing...

@Yocchan Now that you say it, yes, it's kind of a French accent.

@Smilley: Simple, really. Fire up Audacity, plug in your mic and hit the red round button. ;D
That normally works like a charm.
After recording drag the audio file on the program and adjust it a little bit to be on sync, adjust the volume in relation and you are done.
Oh, before you import the song you should probably normalize your voice with the effect of the same name.
Then export as mp3 or whatever and you're done.

Edit: Whoa, there was a second page... Anyway, I just gonna leave this as a guide for people who don't know how to do it.

@Yocchan Not bad, not bad.
You (or at least your accent) are from eastern Europe, right? Rumania, Poland or similar.

Welcome to the team!

Smilley already said most there is to say.
I'm glad someone does H8_Seed, although there are a few proposals I'd like to make:

Due to the nature of H8_Seed's music it may sound really awkward to sing over it with a normal voice. So you should first think about this: Would anyone want to sing over this?
Personally I know I'd love to, but I don't know how many other people there are.

Heartstrings:
This thing is written in 5 (heck yeah), but very hard to sing (that's why I know it by heart and can play it on my piano...).
You might want to check out Pony1Kenobi's cover and maybe modify your file for this as well, since it's way more "accessible".

Awoken:
Should actually credited more towards Glaze, since it appeared on his channel (maybe they did it for H8_Seed to profit off Glaze's fame, who knows)

Petrified:
Meh, rap doesn't really work.

Manticore:
Is very fast, this will be hard. The faster a track is, the harder to create a file for it.

Too Many Heads
Yes please. That's all.

Go for it!
