Not sure how it'd be done for the game, but there was around 0:45 worth of vocals in the movie proper, and we've had smaller official songs make it in.

See the shapes and colours
Of the patterns all around
I'm lifted, soft like down

Know the waves of light
Tiny fragments of self
They shifted, paint the town

I don't got a care in the world
City slicker, rain drops
They bounce right off my back
I don't have to be that kinda of girl
City slicker, rain drops
They bounce right off my back

See the sparks and shadows
They reach over shine
I'm crossed in grids and lines

Know the negative spaces
That you move within
I'm dancing, in between

Slow motion as I pause
I see the beauty and the flaws
Rain drops like diamonds

I don't got a care in the world
City slicker, rain drops
They bounce right off my back
I don't have to be that kinda of girl
City slicker, rain drops
They bounce right off my back

I don't got a care in the world
City slicker, rain drops
They bounce right off my back (they bounce right off my)
I don't have to be that kinda of girl (no I, no I)
City slicker, rain drops
They bounce right off my back (they bounce right off my)

We need some more contemporary lead Feather in the game (I'll Show You My Loyalty was great taste, but this one's just her); making the year-end at #86, this coffee-shop track is great for female beginners to sing.

Under Luna's sky, where the moon shines bright,
We're gonna live our life and dance all night.
Under Luna's Sky, nopony else around,
The beating of our hearts is the only sound.

Under Luna's sky, where the air is clear.
The stars shine brightest when I've got you here.
We've come oh so far from the place we met.
Don't you say goodbye, 'cause we're not done yet.

You're safe with me, all my words are true,
Let your thoughts run free, I'm here with you.

With your hoof in mine, there's nothing we can't do,
Your touch sends shivers down my spine, your kiss makes me feel brand new.

The moon is brighter now, the night is on our side,
I don't know how, but we're gonna stay up all night.

Under Luna's sky let's play, let's fly,
We'll remember this night for the rest of our life.

Behind only Eeyup as his biggest original, this was his biggest chart success, making the year-end chart at #88.

Song requests / Re: d.notive - Taking Flight

BUMP: This song is #38 on the year-end for 2014. In addition, while having Loveless Lovechild is great, this is undeniably d.notive's biggest hit.

Just wanted to post that the year-end is out!

http://bronymusicbillboard.blogspot.com/p/top-100-songs-of-2014.html

What do you guys think?

(Also a couple of notes: votes never factored in significantly, and this chart is being replaced in 2015 by the Trot 100; I think you can guess the big advantage it has over the Hot 50  ;D )

Ooh, I do hope this one gets added! It's been doing well on the charts too: it debuted at #2, and re-entered the top 10 just this week at #8. Whoever charts this should be careful with Mic's part though, since he drags considerably to the beat.

I must admit I'm not entirely sure which board to put this in, but here goes. Though I am on the TrotMania team, another hobby has started to enter my life: music chart tracking. For the past month or so, I've been keeping data on Billboard's Hot 100 for records and to track trends. However, it occurred to me a few days ago that there isn't a proper equivalent for brony music. Sure, there's monthly votes like toptenpony's, but nothing that can keep track of a song's popularity over time. Thus, I finally decided to remedy this with the Brony Music Billboard! The way this works is that there are 2 categories:

-Votes: Base votes from the toptenpony polls are kept for 5 months, and weekly votes on the designated post supplement it. Currently has 40% weight  due to no votes for the first week, though it will be slightly adjusted to 41% next week.

-Views: Keeps tally of the daily view average of the week. Currently has 60% weight, to be adjusted to 59%.

Songs are eligible if they were released within 6 months of the current month (note that this means songs released on September 1st, 2013 are still eligible late in March 2014), songs voted into toptenpony are automatically added, and other songs will be tracked once voted in.

So, what's needed now are votes, so that there's a more accurate representation of what's being favored at the moment. All you have to do is leave a comment listing 3 songs eligible on the post for 3/23/14! Hopefully, we can get this to spread!

By the way, first week's vote winner was naturally "Moonlight", while the "Stop the Bats" remix by The Living Tombstone dominated the views category and ultimately won the Hot 50. However, with the release of the "Chant of Immortality" PMV, there is a very good chance it shall become the new #1.
