LYRICS:

In the rain or in the dark
I will never lose the spark
That keeps me going when I'm low

Everybody asks me how
I get by when I get down
It's easy to get through the darkness
Once you know

I can show you the way
To have a brighter day
It only takes a smile
To make it all worthwhile

WE CAN CONQUER OUR FEARS
LAUGH UNTIL HAPPY TEARS
FALL TO THE GROUND
IF YOU'RE LOST AND AFRAID
ALL THE GOOD TIMES WILL FADE
JUST FOLLOW THE SOUND
FOLLOW THE SOUND OF LAUGHTER

Pulling through, standing tall
We can rise above it all
With our friends by our side

Face the danger with a grin
'Cuz there's no battle we can't win
We will never fall, never devide

We will find the way
To face another day
It only takes one smile
To make it all worthwhile

WE CAN CONQUER OUR FEARS
LAUGH UNTIL HAPPY TEARS
FALL TO THE GROUND
IF YOU'RE LOST AND AFRAID
ALL THE GOOD TIMES WILL FADE
JUST FOLLOW THE SOUND
FOLLOW THE SOUND OF LAUGHTER

When you look inside, you'll find the answer
Coming from the heart you can't go wrong
Do it with a smile and you'll find Laughter
Find your melody and sing ...

YEAH!

WE WILL CONQUER OUR FEARS
LAUGH UNTIL HAPPY TEARS
FALL TO THE GROUND
WITH THE FRIENDS THAT WE'VE MADE
I KNOW WE'LL NEVER STRAY
IF WE FOLLOW THE SOUND
FOLLOW THE SOUND OF LAUGHTER

I'm pretty much on it.

I gave it a whirl. All in all, it's decent.
Pitching: 4/5 Well done. The only thing I noticed that there are certain... let's call it flourishes, at the end of a segment, like the "Follow the sound of laughter" line, that you gloss over. You could add a short, higher pitched note there. It's what makes the difference between a good notes file and a great one.
Tapping: 3/5  You need to get a bit better grasp for when syllables begin and end. Some notes, especially those that drag on longer, are sometimes hard to nail. If you're uncertain, create an extra note and move it around until you barely can't hear the sound anymore. It's also very much a question of experience. There are also some lines that are farther off then others. Look at the one starting at 2111, for instance.
Also, check if you really have every note placed. For instance, you've missed one at 3202.
Typesetting: 3/5 No errors in spelling and grammar, as far as I can tell, but I'd ask you to follow one of two conventions for elongated notes:
a) Doubling the syllable, with a "-" in between, eg. bri -igh ter, or
b) Using a single ~, eg. brigh ~ ter
I understand what you were going for, but the way you spelled it, it looks as there were an additional note.

I'd recommend you try to fix these errors on your own first, y'know, for practice.

Thanks for the feedback. I will look into the things you mentioned. I'd like to get in touch with you in private so that you can share your insights on this piece of work with me in detail, if you don't mind, so that I can learn from you. I think a little private session in tapping, pitching and typesetting would help me alot.

Really good. A vast improvement over the first draft, and that wasn't bad either. I just made a few tweaks here and there. Mostly timing fixes by a beat or two.
One thing you should look out for - and that's something that'll come with experience -: when you have a syllable starting or ending in a silent consonant - S, F, Th and similar -, you should try and only leave one beat of that sound in the note.

Uploaded it to owncloud accordingly.

I don't mean to sound like a noob, but how exactly do I use this "OwnCloud" thing.

RD1042

You can't. Access is given only to team members afaik.

Eeyup. With the files in post #1 and my update in #6, you have all you need for this song, though. Feedback is always welcome.
