Handling Golden Notes properly

Hello there!

Regarding bonus notes in UltrastarDX: this is why you can achieve 10k points, or potentially more, on some songs. The way USDX handles bonuses has still to be investigated, but anything above 1000 points  is probably erroneous. This won't break gameplay, at least. :)



This screenshot is taken from the YASS editor ("View errors" function). I'm unsure if any other editors actually describe what needs to be achieved with the golden bonus, but there you have it - the number of beats a song actually needs.

Actually, the game always caps at either 9990 or 10000, depending on whether the game can divide the multipliers. Golden Notes are worth double points. Singstar goes for exactly 1000, but IMO everything between 1000 and 1500, 2000 for short songs is OK. Long, suspended notes on short songs (like the second "honey" on So Many Wonders) can ramp up the Golden Note score something ridiculous.
It's good to have a relative value, but it's often hard to find notes that are worth becoming Golden while adding up to the exact amount of points.
