Title: Karaoke Season is upon us!
Post by: PsychicWalnut on July 06, 2013, 04:32:44 PM
Finally!  ;D

The big season for karaoke is finally here... for me at least.   KaraokeFest starts today!  8) (ends in September)
KaraokeFest is a big karaoke contest that happens in Southern California.

I'd love to qualify using a pony song or two, but the only format that can be used is CD+G.
I've tried looking for converters, but haven't found any that work.  The closest I found was one that looked like it would, but failed when making the actual file.  :o

Has anypony had any luck in converting to CD+G format?

https://karaoke.kjams.com/wiki/Producer apparently.

You need OS X, if you don't have a mac, take a look to TPB with these keyword : "mountain lion vmware"

Ooo... Yeah, I looked into that one, but dismissed it because of the need for a mac...

I didn't even think to look for a VM.  Thanks!

Let me warn you, OS X on VMware is everything but stable, you gonna have some not fun time, but it work good enough for that sort of thing.

Heh, as if my PC is stable in the first place.  ;D

If I'm lucky, the two might balance each other out... kinda like noise cancellation, or vocal-removal using only 2-channels.

Besides... I always follow the standard rule of SNSO.  (Save Now, Save Often)
