1st error : why launcher is in your desktop ? launcher should be in same directory than ultrastardx.exe

2nd : Seem like something corrupted, that error is about dependency, can you try redownload using torrents ? also don't use poweriso to mount the iso., poweriso suck

A bit late but : all sources are available on disk.

This change is probably not gonna be done before next update, so we will change the launcher ourselves at this time :)

Another workaround for mavericks is to copy the original app from the dmg to the Applications folder and then get info of the app using Apple + I. Once the info inspector is opened, check the checkbox that says "Locked". This will prevent MacOS of modifying the app once it has been launched for the first time.

Due to the way we manage thing with the additional disk 2, Its useless, and could broke stuff (and eventually forbid installing next updates)

First : If you have problems with isos and are using PowerIso : Uninstall it and use anything else, like Daemon Tools lite, PowerISO is terribly bad and installation will fail.

To be able to help you faster and better, please check before asking for help if your iso isn't corrupted, please see the bottom of http://mylittlekaraoke.com/index.php?pages/Game-download , "How can I verify the file downloaded properly?"

If the MD5 don't match, your iso is corrupted, you can either redownload the entire iso or fix it with bittorrent :

1. Put the broken iso into your torrent client downloads folder (e.g : C:\Users\FlufflePuff\Downloads\).
2. Launch the torrent file for the iso.

Your bittorrent client will check the iso and redownloads only parts that are broken.

If your iso is OK but you still has problem, please try to restart install from scratch :

Uninstall the application in control panels > Programs and Features
Delete the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\MyLittleKaraoke (Or anywhere else you had the game installed)
Reinstall the main game
Install the additional disc 1
Install the additional disc 2
Install the additional disc 3
Install the additional disc 4
Install the beta if you want it.

For information, the game was tested working under fresh installation of :

  • Windows XP SP3 32Bits
  • Windows Vista 32Bits
  • Windows Vista 64Bits
  • Windows 7 64Bits
  • Windows 8 64Bits
  • Windows 8.1 64Bits
  • Windows 8.1 Update 1 32Bits
  • Windows 8.1 Update 1 64Bits
  • Windows 10 32Bits
  • Windows 10 64Bits
  • Mac OS X 10.6
  • Mac OS X 10.9
  • Mac OS X 10.10

The beta channel was tested working on:

  • Windows XP SP3 32Bits
  • Windows 7 32Bits
  • Windows 7 64Bits
  • Windows 8.1 Update 1 32Bits
  • Windows 8.1 Update 1 64Bits
  • Windows 10 32Bits
  • Windows 10 64Bits
  • Mac OS X 10.6.8
  • Mac OS X 10.10

It was tested but failed on Windows Vista (No matter the service pack, no matter 32 or 64 bits).

When the connection you have is kinda unreliable, it may be a great idea to use Bittorrent instead, it does check the file against corruption, and if it happen, it can redownload small pieces of the file, instead of 3GB.
#31
Have you check the MD5 ? please read at the bottom of this page : http://www.mylittlekaraoke.com/index.php?pages/Game-download
#32
Your connection seem unreliable, you should probably try to get it via torrents.
#33
G: is your daemon tools drive ? can you check if MD5 match ? your iso may be broken.

http://www.mylittlekaraoke.com/index.php?pages/Game-download Look at the bottom of this page.

Is the Launcher closed when you try to update ?

If it was closed and that still don't work, you can always open it, click on Updates, then on "Open Installation folder in Windows Explorer", you select every files/folder in the new windows, do a right click, Properties > and uncheck Read-only.

Close everything and try again
#35
Try something else than PowerISO to mount the disc, burn it or use daemon tools.

PowerISO is just terrible, and we already had problem with it in the past ><
#36
Problem fixed automatically with Additional Disk 2.

I really love my Alcohol
It makes me really Queer
I start myself with Bourbon
Wash it down with some cheap beer
And then I chug some Red Wine
Drinking Vodka is not enough
Don't give me Gin and Tonic
Man that drink is pussy stuff
Then I go for some Jack Daniels
But I add a little twist
I throw some Absynthe in the cup
To make the bestest mix
Now I'm starting to feel the buzz
But I'm still a ways away
Man I better drink this Green Label
Six glasses makes my day
Now I think it's safe to say
That I'm no longer in a funk *hic*
Cause I've drunk enough to kill a horse
I'm finally fucking drunk! *thud*

Oh, we're the Wonderbolts and we're super fast
And we're from Cloudsdale which-is-a-part-of-Equestria  [laughs nervously]
That we like best and we're proud and we're fast and we like it because it really has nice trees
Yeah, we love the town because it's so cool and, and we like to fly really fast and everything like that
[sighs] I've kinda wish this was over 'cause it is... n't... yet... over... now.
Oh, we're the Wonderbolts and we're super fast and we're cloud– from Cloudsdale
We like it there 'cause it's really nice and the trees are cool and I hope it is over now
And... it keeps going on, la la la
And we really love the town
So I wish that this... song... was over now.
Over... now.
Over... now.

I sent to Renard a possible fix (since no one worked on that issue in 4 months ...)

Thanks PsychicWalnut for your input, I had completely forgotten Windows attribute.
