Welcome! / What are these songs counted in?

When entering in notes to make a song you need to enter in a start time for that note. This start time obviously increases as you progress though the song, however I was wondering by what increments does the number that represents the start time increase by. Beats, half-beats, quarter-beats, etc.?

Issues and bug reports / Re: Notes.txt file help

Okay thank you, it's just that I've downloaded a lot of stuff recently and I was trying to avoid downloading anymore for unimportant reasons. I'll definetly download it though if it makes it as easy as you are saying.

Does "song.mp3" exists in the same folder?
Yes, I copied everything from an already made song folder and edited it to fit according to the song I'm creating. I've know how to do it now it's just that I didn't do what Smiley said.

Issues and bug reports / Notes.txt file help
August 17, 2013, 06:36:08 PM
This is a copy of my notes.txt file for a song and I'm trying to find out whats wrong with it. It will not show up on the game after I import the song. (I only have a singular randomly placed note to make sure that I was able to load the song and have a working note.

Sure, just to let you know I only have a single random note placed in the song. This is because I wanted to check and make sure that it would load properly.

I manually created a song file (including background.png, cover.png, notes, and song.mp3) from scratch and basically replicated the folders that are used for the other songs, but exchanging some information (i.e. title, notes, etc.) to fit the song I was making. However my song file still doesn't work on the game. Do I have to use the programs listed on this forum page?
